Susan use the "Table" Menu option to create a 2 column table. Then go to the cell on the right and use the "Split Cells" option to give you more columns or rows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
I'm in cell I'm in another cell. You can right click on this and go to "Cell Properties" and format it in many different ways.
